Secure Multiple Sites with Power Server ID

Power Server ID Unified Communications certificates can secure up to 4 server names that reside on 1 physical server and share the same second level domain name. When ordering, you have the option to include 3 alternative server names to be included in the certificate. The certificate issued by GeoTrust will include these server names along with the server name listed in the common name of the CSR you submitted, in the Subject Alternative Name fields.

For example, if you want to secure the following server names:

www.yourdomain.com
secure.yourdomain.com
product.yourdomain.com
info.yourdomain.com

You must specify the 3 extra names during during the ordering process. You do not need to add the extra names to your CSR. The number of server names contained in the Subject Alternative Name (SAN) field is limited to 3.
