He also said companies should make sure they follow PCI compliance rules, as regulation will become more important next year.

Hamelin told Microscope that continuous compliance will be essential for businesses looking to keep a compliant security status without waiting for another party to carry out the company's annual check. He also said CIOs will need to show CEOs and others in business consistent reports of security to make sure all is well.
