Upcoming data security conference to offer cyber threat insight
To highlight the importance of data security among organizations, CoreLink Data Centers recently announced the upcoming Information Systems Security Association's annual Southern California Security Symposium, will be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Long Beach, California, on October 26.
The network security event will include presentations from more than 30 vendors regarding breach readiness, eDiscovery and other IT issues that could harm companies, including spam, viruses, Trojans and worms, according to CoreLink.
"The ISSA SoCal Security Symposium provides IT professionals not only with vital information about current and possible future network security risks, but also valuable tips and recommendations about how to fortify technology infrastructures against the inevitability of cyber attacks," said CoreLink vice president Scott Brueggeman.
Brueggeman added that the growing need for greater security measures has led to the company's sponsorship of the event.
The evolution of technology has made malicious software more readily available than ever before. According to a recent Digital Health report, the internet has allowed more cybercriminals to surface and target companies of all sizes across many industries.
